• Transfer switches from 30 to 4000 amps are available. Switches are available in manual, non-automatic, automatic and bypass configurations.

เมื่อกระแสไฟฟ้าของการไฟฟ้านครหลวงถูกส่งมาที่สำนักงานนั้นๆ ของท่านอย่างปกติ ไฟฟ้าก็จะถูกส่งผ่าน Main Breaker ของสวิทช์สับเปลี่ยนอัตโนมัติไปยัง Load ตามปกติ แต่เมื่อไฟ Main ผิดปกติ เช่น ไฟดับ มาไม่ครบเฟส หรือแรงดันต่ำกว่าที่กำหนดไว้ ระบบควบคุมจะสั่งให้เครื่องกำเนิดไฟฟ้าทำงาน แต่ถ้าไฟ Main ผิดปกติไม่เกิน 3 วินาที ก็จะไม่มีการสั่งให้เครื่องกำเนิดไฟฟ้าทำงาน

เมื่อไฟ Main กลับมาใช้งานได้ตามปกติ ระบบควบคุมก็จะทำการหน่วงเวลาประมาณ 3 นาที เพื่อให้ไฟ Main มาคงที่แน่นอน หลังจากนั้นแล้ว ระบบควบคุมจะทำการสั่ง Open Breaker ทางด้าน Generator และ Close Breaker ทางด้าน Main เพื่อจ่าย Load ตามปกติ
